Always one more story...

Chuck - Come Sail Away JY- Renegade

Another incredible show - when the band came back out before '"Renegade," they spent a little time interacting with the front of the crowd, handing out picks, towels and the occasional water bottle. JY was having a great night, was very chatty with the first couple of rows, and even unbuttoned a couple of extra shirt buttons! Between that, Chuck in uniform and the rest of the display on stage in front of me, if anyone knows the proper procedure for getting your eyes ALL the way back into your head, please email me!

Tommy - Snowblind Todd - Fooling Yourself

When the encore was done (already?) the boys came back out to take their bows. I got a nice long handshake and a big beautiful smile from JY, and while "stuff" is nice, I'll take that over any "stuff" any day of the week. Thanks, JY. Then, as Tommy was standing right in front of me, out of nowhere I remembered that Kelly had given me a couple of envelopes in Virginia Beach for Chuck and for Tommy. They were cards with some pictures enclosed, but Chuck hadn't been at the shows Kelly went to, and she hadn't been able to get the card for Tommy to him, so knowing I'd see them again in a few days, she asked me to try and get the cards to them. Never thinking I'd really be able to do it, I took the cards and said I'd try. Well now here was Tommy right in front of me and I was suddenly scrambling through my bag for those cards! By the time I got them in my hand, Tommy was elsewhere, but now Chuck was right in front of me. So I figured I'd give him both cards, put his on top with his name showing, and yelled "CHUCK!" He looked down and took the cards from me, shook a few more hands, and then they were all gone. Someone tell me what kind of luck I have where I'm given something and asked "can you give this to Chuck Panozzo," and then I actually do get to hand it right to him? Life is good!

JY - Renegade Glen and JY - Renegade

When the boys were gone and the music stopped, over the speakers came one last perfect "2001" quote from HAL - "Thank you for a very enjoyable game."
