When Glen went out into the
audience for "Love Is The Ritual," he went so far I could barely see
him at all! This is a part of the show the crowd goes crazy for - Glen
even calls someone up on his "remote stage" to dance with him. When
he comes back up to the front, he and JY travel the two levels of the stage
jumping up and down in synchronization, not missing a beat and not looking or sounding a bit out
of breath when they finally return to earth. They may not be out of breath,
but since the first time I saw this, it leaves me breathless! The energy in
this show and in this band is astonishing.
The new single, "A
Criminal Mind," got a great reception from this crowd. I don't know how
many people already knew the song, but new or familiar, Lawrence brought
everyone along with him into the darker side of Styxworld.
