I flew into Memphis, since it’s only about 30 miles outside of Tunica. When I picked up the rental car, the woman at the counter asked me conversationally what I was doing so far from home, and I told her I was there to see two Styx shows at one of the casinos, and we chatted for a few minutes. She wasn’t a big Styx fan, but she played along and didn’t give any indications that she thought I was insane! When I checked in at the Horseshoe, the woman there had the same reaction looking at my New Hampshire address, and asked what brought me there - she didn’t seem too surprised when I told her. I was probably not the first or the last person she saw who told her what a long way they had come to see Styx!
