They're playing WHAT?
When they came out to tape the new set list down to the stage for the night, we all went up to see if there was going to be anything new for the night. We went up in such a flock that we scared the security people - I think they thought we were going to climb up on the stage! But we were just anxious to find out! I know, it's kind of like snooping around the house before Christmas to find out what you're going to get, but you know how kids are! And in fact there were a few songs on the list that were NOT there the night before - seeing the list in advance did NOT ruin anything!
On the subject of set lists, though, a few minutes later, Jimmy, the stage manager, came out with an evil grin on his face and taped new set lists on top of the other ones. We went back up to the stage, more quietly this time, to see what was up… and this set list was a riot! It started off with Babe, included Aku-Aku, a full length version of Sweet Home Alabama, and went through the most unlikely Styx set list you could imagine, including Plexiglas Toilet… it was hysterical! We were talking about what the looks on the guys' faces would be like when they saw that list, but we didn't get to see that - Keith came out a little later, read the lists and laughed… but then they were pulled, so I guess someone decided it wasn't such a great trick to play. It was funny though!
