I know I always say this, but it's true - the show goes by much too quickly, and before I knew it they had sung "Come Sail Away" and left the stage. When they came back, this is when they have all their presents with them - drum sticks, towels, beach balls, etc. I was watching JY (surprise) and he came back out onstage with a towel. He blotted his face with it, walked over to where I was, and then bent down and handed it to me with a big smile. The smile floored me as much as the towel! The people on each side of me barely even tried to reach for the towel, because he was plainly handing it to me, and in fact didn't let go of it until I had it. I thought that was a really sweet thing to do - I promise you no one there that night would have been happier to get it than I was! I just hope I remembered to say thank you; I think I did! If not - thanks JY!
At some point during the show, I looked over more toward where Tommy's mike was, and saw that Linda, Edith and Karen had made it up to the front of the stage over there. I never doubted that they would! At the end of the night, Linda got to hand her flowers up to Tommy as he walked by high-fiving people. He took them but then wanted his hands free, so he stuck the flowers down into the top of his pants! Sorry I didn't get a picture, Linda, but I witnessed that! Karen ended up with a couple of picks, and she told me later that her son got one of the beach balls!
