I have to tell this story - it was hysterical. After the last note is
played, as the guitars are taken away and the beachballs are launched, the
band walks the edge of the stage and shakes hands and spends a few minutes
with the audience. I had my hands up with my yellow JY gloves, which I had
been wearing for the whole show as usual, which JY and Glen had noticed right
away as they often do. When Lawrence came over to where I was and was shaking
hands, when he shook my hand, he noticed I had these shiny gloves on. Well
I'll allow as how that's a bit odd, and I guess he thought it was, so he
stopped and said to me, "What are those - what do they say?" So I
held up the palms of my hands to him so he could read the letters -
"J" "Y"… and he completely cracked up laughing at
them! Then he looked back at me and suddenly got VERY serious, and he said,
totally deadpan - "I'm not JY." Well that cracked ME up… I
said "Yes, I know!" and we were both laughing as he left. How can
you not love this guy, uh, what's his name?
