When the band came out for the first song and the lights went up, the looks on THEIR faces when they looked across the front few rows and saw all the usual suspects were priceless! They know some people personally, but many more of us are familiar to them because they see our faces over and over, in more or less these same spots, show after show. JY even mentioned seeing a lot of familiar faces as he introduced "Lorelei". The fact that they remember and appreciate us coming back again and again is part of the magic that is Styx. And somehow they manage to make it new and fresh every time - this NEVER gets old. I don't know if the vibe was the same for everyone in the room, but for me this was a big party. Bluesville is a smaller venue, 1200 seats, and it felt almost more like a family gathering than anything else. Don't be mistaken though, this was a rock show!
