At the beginning of the
show, a bunch of us in my area were stretching our necks, trying to read the
set list that was taped to the stage, upside down to us. JY was laughing at
us, but hey, we just want to know! There were a lot of songs that they usually
play, but one that was definitely new to me was "A Criminal Mind"!
Lawrence started with the intro to "I Will Be Your Witness," then led directly into the piano intro to "A Criminal Mind," which is a song he recorded as a solo artist before joining Styx. His solo version is great, but with the entire band and the added guitars and harmonies, this song is amazing! It got a very enthusiastic response from the audience!
