What
kind of a show is it where "Love Is The Ritual" now feels like a
return to the USUAL set list? The only description I have is - absolutely
unreal. The energy of the band was higher than I've ever seen it, and the
energy from the audience matched it. (I'm channeling Kevin Cronin - stop
me!)
After the show, everyone hung around and talked for a while, not quite willing to let the evening finish, but we finally drifted away to head back to all the far away places where we started. I got the other half of a drumstick (bottom half - the night before I got the top half) from the girl in front of me who already had a whole stick - thank you! I also gave away a Tommy pick since I had my broken one (which I love) from the night before - these things work out!
What a weekend… it was so great meeting everyone, and seeing two of the most high intensity shows I've ever seen. Just - incredible!
